About Fhios

Fhios provides its clients with range of user research services that could be used for improving Web based applications. The aim of services is studying applications usability from users with vast range of skills, i.e. from complete novices to experts. The studies take various formats and range from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Some involve performing a set of typical user tasks, usability testing on a web site such as requesting a brochure and providing your feedback, whilst others consist of completing an on-line form giving your feedback on various web site pages.

Usability Studies
Focus Groups
Mystery Visitor

Usability Studies require you to travel at a usability lab with test equipment installed, all user's cations are recoded on video for better analysis. They are usually held in fhios premises or a partner site, often in London but can be throughout the UK and in fact Europe.

Mystery visitor studies are done on-line and can be carried out in your home or place of work. The study usually lasts for several days so can be undertaken to suit.

Focus groups are usually carried out in informal surrounding. They can be in fhios premises or partner sites, again in London and throughout the UK.

The amount of fees depends upon the type of study. Typically, usability tests and study groups can expect to receive £50 per study as they incur some personal expense to you, such as travel. Mystery visitor fees are less and typically are £20 because they do not involve travel and do not take so long to participate.
